With an eye for unity, this exhibition pulls the contrasted image together using the repetition of a light pink to bring out the highlights of the image, creating an easy path for the eye to travel. Keeping the same color scheme in the title of this webpage, and using varied, yet complimentary fonts within the heading, really embeds the image right into the page.

- Contrast, saturation, light balance, and other basic editing skills
- Exemplary understanding of brush techniques with an eye for proper opacity
- Use of a strong, yet not overpowering vignette
- Gentle brush strokes with limited flow bring out the appearance of real pink spray paint particles in front of the subject's face

Revisions - after reviewing my original work and getting peer feedback, I made the following revisions

  • I used a paint splatter brush on a small size matching the color of the original pink spray paint and painted around the edges of the original image

  • I used the same brush to paint along the spray of paint coming from the can, making it look as if the subject is spray painting over the viewer.

  • Replacing the black vignette with pink "spray paint" changed up the feel of the image into a more playful, bright image. While the original feels more elegant and professional, the revision has a much more adventurous feel.
