For the revision of my portfolio, I decided to go with a new project altogether using my own original photo. I started with a photo I took myself where I attempted to create a smoky and vibrantly colored background surrounding the subject. However, I wasn't satisfied with the vibrance of the colors, especially the white spray paint, as it created a disbalance of color with the left side standing out while the right side fades away. To fix this, I used a filter brush to turn the white spraypaint and smoke into a pink shade, creating the desired pop of color, and creating balance in the composition. I repeated the shade of pink found in the reflection of the sunglasses on the rest of the background to unify the entire piece together. Additionally, the pink can on the left compliments the blue paint while the blue can on the right compliments the pink.
